Pastoral Care

At Centerpoint Church, we’re committed to walking with people through life’s challenges with compassion, wisdom, and biblical truth. Our team offers short-term spiritual guidance and discipleship-focused conversations to help individuals navigate personal or spiritual struggles, life transitions, or questions of faith.

Our pastors are not licensed counselors and do not offer ongoing therapy. While we are happy to meet with individuals for continued support, ongoing coaching or counseling-style relationships fall outside our standard pastoral care and will be offered at a cost.

 What We Offer

  • Pastoral conversations focused on spiritual insight, prayer, and relational coaching and support

  • Short-term guidance through personal or faith-related challenges

  • Referrals to trusted professional counselors or coaches when needed

What We Do Not Offer

  • Long-term counseling or coaching relationships

  • Long-term mental health support or therapy

  • Clinical diagnosis or treatment

  • Crisis intervention or emergency care

  • Free long-term coaching or accountability relationships outside our discipleship structure

Ongoing Needs

If a person’s need requires continued care beyond a few initial conversations, or if they’re seeking regular meetings for personal development, healing, or emotional support, we will:

  • Establish a clear outline of the cost and expectations for the individual to continue receiving care from that pastor

  • Recommend professional counseling or coaching

  • Help connect them with a trusted provider

  • Encourage participation in discipleship or support environments (e.g., small groups, recovery groups, mentorships
