Help Hillsborough County kids start the school year right!

As part of our Summer of Service, we're partnering with the Back to School Bash — a community-wide event sponsored by ECHO Brandon that is helping local families gear up for the new school year.

On Saturday, August 1 from 9am-12pm at the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds, families will pick up backpacks full of essential supplies, connect with local resource vendors, and enjoy a fun activity zone for the kids.

We need volunteers both for backpack-filling the week before and for event-day support — sorting, set-up, activities, and more.

Available Volunteer Shifts:

• Tuesday, July 28 9am-12pm: Backpack filling

• Thursday, July 30 9am-12pm: Backpack filling

• Friday, July 31 9am-12pm: Event setup (must be ale to lift 25lbs)

• Saturday, August 1 8:30am-12pm: Event volunteers (greeters, registration, line management, parking, food distribution, and kids fun zone; both English and Spanish-speaking volunteers needed).
